About Us:

It all started with Gingi and Luna, my rescued fur babies. I created this app for all cat lovers who would want one platform to access cat training, education, recipes, adorable wallpapers, and all the cat-must-haves product reviews. Read more about Gingi and Luna's story below:

Gingi

I never had a cat that was officially mine before I adopted Gingi on September 7th, of 2020. It was unplanned, unexpected, but there was this little runt kitty that needed a home, out of all his siblings no one wanted him, but I did. I took one look at him and knew he was precious, but also extremely sick. He was not only malnourished, but he was extremely infested with fleas, and his belly was so big and disproportionate to his body that I realized he had severe worms. His hair was patchy, unhealthy, and he had absolutely no energy.

I took him to several vets, and they had all given me a sad look saying he probably wouldn't make it. He had a severe heart murmur (he only has a slight one now), extremely malnourished and had stomach issues. They all didn't think that he would survive, and honestly, I wasn't too sure either. I got him the best food from the vet and kept trying. He was the calmest, sweetest little angel, he had no energy to play, all he wanted to do was be near me and cuddle me.

One day he had a severe fever and I immediately rushed him to the vet. They gave me antibiotics which I had to force feed twice a day for 10 days. After a week he was a completely different kitty. He had energy for the first time, he wanted to play, and for once he could. After a couple of months his hair started to grow out, and he was eating and growing.

He was 3 months old when I first got him, but he was the size of a 3 week old kitten. He stayed small for such a long time, he struggled to hit 2lbs for months that I didn't think he would ever become a normal size cat. Now he is two years old and 10 lbs.!

Now he is a healthy cat, thriving with his little sister Luna. I think he knows that I saved him because he is very attached to me. He is a jealous cat who only wants my attention. He cuddles me every single night.

I am grateful every day that he's with me as I never thought he would make it this far, but he did! He was a little miracle, all he needed was love, the right nutrition and care

Luna:

Luna is a goof-ball plant lover. I rescued her 2021, October 15th, about a year after I had Gingi because I wanted Gingi to have a friend. I searched for a while for the perfect kitten for him and one day I spotted Luna on one of my rescues foster friend’s social media and knew she was the one. Her twin ginger brothers were adopted, and she was left all alone. She came to me with extreme separation anxiety, especially after her brothers were taken away from her. She was left with Gingi who she wanted nothing to do with for a full 3 days. She hissed when he was near, and Gingi was the most patient boy, he would lay as close to her as possible and just wait. After 3 full days, they were cuddling, and licking one another, they were so incredibly attached.

Luna isn't a calm gentle cat like Gingi is, instead, she’s a wild beast. Full of energy, attitude, and a plant killer demon. But she is also the most loving and open cat I have ever met, she LOVES people, she wants to meet everyone and explore everything. She's still a baby so she's still a handful, but this is where training is so important. She is 100 times better than when I first got her, or even a few months ago, this is where this app has helped me and can help many others who are struggling with training their fur babies.

Travel:

Both of them are from Vancouver, Canada. I had decided to move to Mexico and travel like I have always wanted to do, however, there was no way I would leave them behind, so I took them with me. If you are interested in hearing about our journey from Canada to Mexico, email us at Meow@educationinnovationsmedia.com. We are happy to explain the whole process, or if you would like me to add a Travel section to our app, please send us a request! Until then, read about our tips and tricks when traveling with your cats article here! Traveling, especially with pets can be extremely stressful, and our planned trip of 9.5 hours turned into a 25.5 hour ordeal, but we made it to Mexico and travelled came back to Canada 6 months later!
