Personal Experience:
We have personally used this product for two years and travelled to another country with it. Thanks to the easy construction, we were able to dissemble it and put it in a suitcase without worrying about the cats scratching new furniture, as well as bringing something that smells familiar to them with us. The only thing that has needed replacing is the rope which you can buy and simply use a glue gun to glue it back on the post to make it look brand new!
