About the Recipe:
Sardines have a strong odor that cats enjoy but to them, the taste is even better. When serving this dish, don't expect leftovers!
While cats love all things fish, it's not a good idea to feed them only fish because they won't get a balanced diet from a fish-only menu. Cats can acquire health problems and nutritional inadequacies if they solely eat fish. The enzyme thiamine found in raw or undercooked fish can actually damage the thiamin in your cat's system. This can produce thiamin deficiency, which can lead to neurological issues.
Furthermore, a diet consisting mainly of tuna fish can result in a major Vitamin E shortage. This can result in a condition known as "steatites." This illness is also referred to as "Yellow Fat Disease," and it can be excruciatingly painful. The fat in a cat's body hardens as a result of this. Tuna fish also contains a lot of mineral salts, which can cause bladder stones over time. Although you should not feed your catfish on a regular basis, this amazing dish contains no tuna but still satisfies their desire for fish, and they will enjoy it.
